Terms of Service
Last updated: August 11, 2026
These terms cover work purchased from Corvrook, Inc. — websites, UNO editions, and custom development. Questions before you buy? Reach out here.
1. Agreement
By purchasing a website, a UNO edition, or custom development work from Corvrook, Inc. ("Corvrook," "I," "me"), you ("client," "you") agree to these Terms of Service. If you don't agree to these terms, don't purchase or use the deliverables.
2. Services
Corvrook provides three kinds of work: one-time website or portal builds, UNO edition sales (Studio, Office, Backpack, Workshop, and Enterprise), and custom development billed hourly. Each engagement is scoped in writing (email, form submission, or invoice) before work begins.
3. Payment
- Custom work requires a 30–50% deposit upfront, with the remainder due on delivery.
- Custom development is billed at $60/hour. Estimates are given as ranges, not flat quotes. If a project is going to exceed the high end of its estimate, you'll be notified before work continues — never billed for an overage without a heads-up first.
- UNO editions and one-time website builds are paid in full as agreed at the time of purchase, unless a deposit arrangement was specifically set up in writing.
4. License & Usage Rights
When you purchase a UNO edition, a website, or a custom build, you're buying a license to use that file for your own business — not the underlying codebase as a product you can resell.
- You may use, customize, and run the delivered file for your own business operations, including making copies for your own backup or multi-device use.
- You may not repackage, redistribute, resell, sublicense, or otherwise represent the delivered HTML file — in original or modified form — as your own product or service.
- You may not alter the underlying code for the purpose of reselling it, whether as-is, white-labeled, or under a different name.
- A separate, full-rights license is available for clients who want the right to modify and resell UNO-based builds — see Full-Rights License. This requires its own written agreement and its own pricing, purchased explicitly and separately from a standard edition.
- Violating these usage terms may result in termination of your license without refund.
5. Revisions & Support
- Custom work includes a 1-week free revision window after delivery. After that, revisions are $25 each.
- Genuine defects — something delivered broken, not a preference change — are always fixed free, with no time limit.
- Product updates (new features, improvements) are offered free as UNO and Corvrook's capabilities improve, delivered via the Export (old file) → Import (new file) flow. This is not automatic — each file runs entirely offline with no built-in update-checking mechanism.
6. Ownership
Corvrook retains ownership of the underlying UNO codebase, architecture, and any proprietary tooling used to build or tailor deliverables. You own your own business data, content, and customizations entered into your copy of the file, within the scope of the license granted under Section 4.
7. No Warranty
Deliverables are provided "as is." Corvrook does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, fitness for a particular purpose beyond what was scoped, or that the software will meet every future need of your business. Because UNO runs entirely offline and stores data locally in your browser, you are responsible for your own backups — use the built-in Export function regularly. Corvrook is not liable for data loss.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Corvrook's total liability for any claim related to these services is limited to the amount you paid for the specific deliverable in question. Corvrook is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the delivered work.
9. Termination
Corvrook may decline or discontinue work at any point before delivery, with a refund of any unearned deposit. Your license to use a delivered file may be revoked if these terms — particularly Section 4 — are violated.
10. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
11. Changes to These Terms
These terms may be updated from time to time. The version in effect at the time of your purchase applies to that purchase; continued use of a delivered product does not retroactively bind you to later changes to these terms.
